FC 390SS SIDE STEERThe FC 390ss (Side Steer) was designed out of a desire to have a small, economical craft that is easily handled by a single person, as well as being versatile and safe enough to accommodate up to four people. The FC 390ss (Side Steer) have all the advantages of a small alloy boat, including easy beach launching, with the safety and stability features normally found in much larger craft.Most 12fters were traditionally made from 1.6 2mm alloy and were riveted, we wanted a more stable, safer craft, so we designed the FC 390ss to give you a much more stable, dryer and safer 3mm welded boat.The FC 390ss design incorporates wide chines and a moderate V at the transom, making it incredibly stable when stationary, a fine entry and variable dead rise gives you a nicer ride- even when faced with a sharp wind chop.Every FC boat including the FC 390ss comes with a built in FC passive live bait tank to target bigger fish as well as the FC Dry riding gunnel system which keeps you dryer and more comfortable.  Safety is catered for with positive buoyancy in both the fully-welded tread plate floor cavity and the closed cell foam-filled gunnels.This design gives you three separate flotation chambers and will keep the boat upright if ever swamped.
